?-Galactosidase Assay (CPRG) provides an easy and sensitive method to determine ?-galactosidase activity in lysates of cells transfected with the ?-galactosidase expression construct. Our assay utilises chlorophenol red-?-D-galactopyranoside (CPRG), which is up to 10 times more sensitive than traditional o-nitrophenyl-?-D-galactopyranoside (ONPG) ?-Galactosidase- based assays.
