The OneTouch Plus spotpicker with disposable tips removes 1.5mm or 3.0mm diameter spots from 2D gels. A new tip is used for every spot, eliminating cross contamination from one sample to the next. The unit uses specially made thin walled, sharp tips with floating filters (patent pending) to eject the gel plug from the tip.
