2 mil polyester films minimise evaporation, prevent spillage and contamination between wells and provide a secure seal not just a cover. Secure sealing of all wells eliminates 'edge effects' in sensitive ELISA assays. SealPlate films can also be used with tissue culture plates for short term storage, incubation and containments of biohazards.

Consists of 50µm thickness clear polyester. They minimise evaporation, prevent spillage and contamination between wells and provide a secure seal for ELISA, EIA and similar assays. These unique films include a colour dot and white writing area on each end tab for plate ID labelling. End tabs with backing removed adhere to the ends of the plate and are perforated so they can be left in place to maintain plate identity even if the centre portion of the film is removed. Alternatively, one inscribed colour coded end tab can be removed and pasted in a lab notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. Dimension 79.4x146mm. Films are supplied with 5 dot colours (green, lavender, orange, rad and blue) 5 colour packs of 10 non-sterile.

Identical to SealPlate but designed for sealing only one or two 8 well rows at a time on either strip-well plates or standard plates whenever rows must be selectively protected or accessed. Each film is 0.75 x 4.0625 inches including two removable positioning tabs.

Two tabs on each strip for easy application and removal.

Perforated tabs can be removed or sealed around plate edge.

Can be used as secondary seal to cover films that have been pierced.

Multipurpose Pre-cut Adhesive Polyethylene Film
Durable and thick (4.4mil) yet easily pierced with a pipette tip.
Prevents well-to-well contamination, sample spillage and evaporation.
Provides excellent adhesion to plastic microplates.
Non-cytoxic, sterile, solvent-resistant and waterproof.
Stays solidly in place even when exposed to 100% humidity and extreme temperatures ranging from 100°C to -40°C. (not recommended for use in thermal cyclers)
UV transparent down to 250nm.
