Simply pour RAPIDstain on your gel, and bands develop before your eyes within 5-10 minutes and reasches a maximum in 60 minutes. You can monitor the bands developing directly in the staining tray. Mini gels can be stained in 10 minutes.

RAPIDstain only stains protein leaving a crystal clear background resulting in a high band visibility. The gels require no destaining. The protein band intensity is enhanced by simply rising with water.

RAPIDstain is supplied in a 1x1000ml, sufficient reagent to stain up to 50 mini gels (8x10cm) or 30-40 larger gels.

A unique Coomassie blue based formulation where the dye is preferentially absorbed by the protein bands rather than by the gel matrix, thus Rapid Coommassie Stain is a sample 2 step procedure consisting of a 10 minute incubation in TCA followed by a 20-40 minute incubation in Rapid Commassie Stain. The protein band may be detected within 10 minutes of placing the gel in Rapid Coomassie Stain although maximum intensification of bands may require up to 40 minutes. There is no need for destaining.
