A brand new stain from Web Scientific that offers a real and safe alternative to Ethidium Bromide. Web Green DNA Stain offers the same sensitivity as Ethidium Bromide for most agarose gels up to 5mm thick. For thicker gels customers may experience some loss of sensitivity and an increase in background. We recommend that the stain be added into the gel but our customers have also had good success adding the stain to both the gel and the buffer. Gels stained with Web Green can be disposed of with other rubbish and buffers containing Web Green can be poured down the sink.
